It happened in the 80s and was in the Best Damn Blooper top 50(yes I actaully watch those). There are so many from the big schools I just couldn't include them all.Cleethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13248539391249201848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1863093366621053840.post-46542298643472543762008-09-17T15:15:00.000-04:002008-09-17T15:15:00.000-04:00Well done. I would have to agree with everything ...Well done. I would have to agree with everything you said. As a Penn State fan, I would also agree to an extent with the Penn State haters. The yelling of "WE ARE" by half the stadium followed by "PENN STATE" by the other half is pretty damned stupid. Also falling into the stupid category: Ohio State fans and their impromptu spelling bee, the VaTech lunch pale, the "gator chomp" which makes it appear as if the entire stadium is having a seizure (I always associated that motion with a shark, but that's just me.), and that ridiculous wagon that Oklahoma uses. Every time that thing rolls out on to the field, I find myself praying that someone will throw a stick or something in the spokes of the front left wheel. I applaud you for your inclusion of "Rocky Top." I actually avoid watching Tennessee games because I hate that song so much. It is like nails on a chalkboard for me.

One of the only traditions I actually kind of find amusing is the burning of couches by the WVU students after a big win. Although this year they may find themselves only burning the couches after the Pitt game.Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13942262131558481722noreply@blogger.com
