The Sabres proved their worth over the weekend winning 5-0 against another one of our NHL finalists, the Washington Capitals. Ryan Miller had 29 saves for his 8th career shutout. The Sabres are currently sitting second in the northeast division, one game behind the Montreal Canadiens. A big boost was the return of center Tim Connolly to the Sabre line-up as he had an assist on a Derek Roy goal. Thomas Vanek added two goals of his own in the win. Buffalo is at New Jersey tonight.
