"Marcus Ginyard could miss the first three weeks of North Carolina's basketball season after undergoing surgery in Chapel Hill yesterday to repair a stress fracture in his left foot. Doctors put a screw into the bone of Ginyard's small toe at UNC Hospitals. Ginyard is expected to be sidelined for a total of about eight weeks."
