Carolina's Big Cat Gets a New Heart

Jerry Richardson, owner of the Carolina Panthers has received a new heart according to sources in Charlotte. It has not been confirmed officially, but WBTV is reporting he underwent the procedure and is "doing well." Richardson had been on the transplant list since December. He is often somewhat of a mystery in Charlotte since he does not do interviews with the mediaor put himself in the public eye, but as a former player, Panther fans know he is committed to winning. Richardson has been the owner of the team since it's inception in 1993 and as a former NFL player caught the winning pass from Johnny Unitas in the 1959 NFL Championship. We all wish him well.
