ESPN'S John Hollinger has released his PER projections for the upcoming NBA season. So what team is paying the most for the least , who's the best value in the league? Take a look and decide for yourself. The starting five (based on ESPN depth charts) as well as a sixth man (based on expected PER) are calculated in the averages. The players whose names are in gray are other bench players. The orange indicates no PER rating, so league average 15.00 was used. Starbury's 1.65 million per PER point sets the high mark and looks even more ridiculous when compared to Rajon Rondo's $95,000 per PER point.
